This week Klein, Texas Local Business is “The Whistle Stop Tea Room”. It’s a cozy Texas tea room; located on Old Town Tomball.
This small and cozy Texas-style tea room, serves salads, sandwiches, homemade desserts, and teas. It is open only for lunch.
I love this place so much because the ambiance is relaxed. Their service is outstanding, I love how cheerful and welcoming is. And, they have great food made from scratch with Texas-style portions…big 🙂
Last week we ordered two combo specials. Mine was half a chicken salad croissant with rice and chicken soup and a broccoli salad. My husband’s was half a California Chicken with Rice chicken salad on a honey wheat bread. And, their famous “Bread Pudding” dessert.
The menu was small but with a clear focus on local favorites. The food was tasty and felt homey. The half and half choice was a good option to try their soup and a sandwich, which is also perfect for lunch. The bread pudding was warm, soft and creamy, a favorite.
