HOT SPOT OF THE WEEK! Local Bake

This week’s KleinLiving Hot Spot is Local Bake. It’s a bakery and cafe; located at 17297 Stuebner Airline Rd, Spring, TX 77379.

Maybe you have been familiar with the old RJ Goodies, a stapler bakery in the area, for over 20 years. Recently, it has been transformed into Local Bake & Toffee Cellar. The new owners have kept some of the cakes and recipes from old RJ Goodies. It is an excellent place for a to-go breakfast, freshly baked goods, and custom cakes.
 
Last week we ordered a Spinach Quiche and  One Little Piggy and coffee. 
The quiche was warm, with a thin crust and a delicious spinach filling served with tomatoes and pickles. The little piggy came with soft scrambled eggs, sausage, and red potatoes. The sausage was the highlight for my husband; it was juicy and tasty..next time he will order double sausage.
