HOT SPOT OF THE WEEK! The Well in Spring

This week’s KleinLiving Hot Spot is The Well in Spring. It’s a cafe offering coffee, smoothies, and small organic & fresh bites; located at 16300 Kuykendahl Rd. #200, Houston, TX 77068.

I was looking for a place close to F.M.1960 and Kuykendahl to sit down for tea or coffee, and I found The Well in Spring. It is a cute cafe with a few tables and a couple of sofas to chat while enjoying a coffee, tea, or one of their specialty smoothies.

I love this place’s relaxed ambiance and layback service. They offer a variety of build-your-own salads, sandwiches, and wraps, where you can choose your protein and combination of greens.

Interesting fact: They use Alkaline water for all the food preparation and serve only organic and fresh veggies. Alkaline water has a higher pH level than regular drinking water. Alkaline water has potential health benefits, like greater hydration and helping you increase the amount of important minerals in the body. They also grow kale and lettuce in their indoor hydroponic tower.
We ordered a Keto Turkey Lettuce Wrap, Grilled Cheese Sandwich, and a Honey/Ginger Tea (cold). The grilled sandwich was made out of wheat bread, warm and crispy on the outside and soft and cheesy on the inside, comfort food at its best paired with a pickle and a cup of fresh berries. The keto wrap has turkey, greens, avocado, and a little mayo; it was flavorful and fulfilling. It came with a pickle and a cup of fresh berries. I love the sweet tea with tangy ginger, delicious and refreshing.
