This week’s KleinLiving Hot Spot is Cormier’s Kitchen. It’s a Cajun restaurant; located on Louetta Rd.
I love this place so much because the food is fantastic with all the Cajun-Louisiana flavors. The service was top-notch, with southern hospitality; friendly and prompt. The set up is like a sports bar with high and low tables ad several TV’s throughout the restaurant. They also have a patio we would like to go back to when the weather gets nicer
Last week, we went for lunch and ordered a cup of Shrimp Gumbo, Jambalaya & The Mitch. The Gumbo had tons of flavor and plenty of shrimp, it was warm, spicy, and fulfilling. The Jambalaya had chicken and sausage; it was the small portion and the perfect combination for the Gumbo. The Mitch was a fantastic dish, it’s a combination of favorites, with crab cake, and blackened shrimp over dirty rice. This was the best dirty rice I’ve had. And, the creamy Cajun sauce was fantastic and addictive…I didn’t stop until I finished it all.
