This week’s KleinLiving Hot Spot is Bluewater Seafood. It’s a cajun seafood restaurant; located on FM 2920 – Spring.
Bluewater Seafood is a family-owned restaurant, serving fresh seafood since 1996. There are three locations; 1960/290, 2920-Spring, and Champions. I love this place because their seafood is fresh and it has a large variety of dishes with cajun flavors. From soup, salads, cold bar, boils, grilled, fried to specialty dinners…all fresh and serve promptly. It has a friendly atmosphere with a fun pirate-style decoration and a fantastic patio.
Last week we ordered Shrimp Gumbo, Shrimp Po-boy, and Shrimp & Sausage Alfredo. The gumbo was tasty and thick with cajun flavor and fresh shrimp and white rice. My favorite was the Po-boy, the shrimp were fresh and crispy on a nice french roll with crispy fries. Shrimp alfredo was meh, the shrimp and sausage were good with good taste but the alfredo sauce was runny, a little too much for the plate, and missing some salt. Overall, the food was good and fresh and we will be back to sit on the patio.
