This week’s KleinLiving Hot Spot is The Churro King (Food Truck). It’s a food truck that offers churros and champurrados; located on Kuykendall Rd.
People in my community were raving about delicious churros on Kuykendahl. So, we decided to try it out last weekend.
It’s a very clean and nice food truck located on the corner of Spring Cypress & Kykendahl. When we got close, they hand us a couple of samples of fresh churros and we were hooked.
We ordered the “Mix Churros”. It’s a half-dozen of churros with a topping of chocolate and caramel sauce. The churros were fresh, crispy, and hot with sugar, chocolate, and caramel on top. They were delicious. We asked about the champurrado and they gave us a sample. It is a creamy hot chocolate beverage, the perfect combination for the churros on a cold evening.
