HOT SPOT OF THE WEEK! Kohinoor Restaurant

This week’s KleinLiving Hot Spot is “Kohinoor Restaurant”. It’s an Indian & Pakistani restaurant; located on Kuykendahl and Goslin Rd.

This place was open last year during the pandemic closeout; so not many people know about them. We have had food to go in the past, and it was our first time dining in. The owner has retired from the airlines and decided to open a restaurant. The attention to detail in the decor makes it a very modern and unique restaurant. The food is good and his services were really friendly.

I love this place so much because the dining room is clean and elegant, the food is fresh and with great seasoning and you can choose the spiciness level that is good for you.

Last weekend we ordered, “Aloo Leo” and “Beef Samosas” as appetizers and “Goat Korma” and “Kohinoor Chicken Boti” with Butter Naan.

We really enjoyed the Aloo Leo, they are potatoes cakes, very flavorful with a lot of spices, fried and not greasy. The samosas were well made with thin dough and a tasty beef filling. The chicken was moist and the medium spiciness came through. My favorite was the Goat Korma, the goat was very tender and the sauce was creamy, spicy, and delicious with the naan bread.
