HOT SPOT OF THE WEEK! The Wheel Kitchen

This week’s KleinLiving Hot Spot is “The Wheel Kitchen”. It’s farm to table cafe; located on Zion Lutheran Cemetery Rd, Tomball.

This is a charming small house that has been converted into a cafe, it has few spaces for sitting inside and an outside deck under the trees. It is pet-friendly, with a grass area to play catch with your dog. The food is organic, all-natural with gluten-free and vegan options. The cafe serves breakfast and lunch. On the front side, they have the Beer Garden Brewery that’s open only in the evenings.

I love this place so much because they have a variety of healthy, organic, and unique items on their menu. And, everything is fresh, made from scratch, and delicious.

Last week we went for brunch and ordered “Berry breakfast casserole”, “Corn tortilla carne en mole tacos”, mimosas, and a couple of blueberry muffins to go. It was my first time ordering the berry casserole and it is made with a berry blend, croissant, pecan, and maple. It was warm, sweet, fruity and delicious with a side of peppercorn bacon. It is my new favorite. The tacos are made with braised short ribs in a mole sauce with a side of black beans. My hubby loved the tacos, the short ribs were very tender and flavorful with the sweetness and spiciness of the mole.

Sometimes they have special dinner events and at this time they have a Holiday Menu which you can order 48 hrs in advance.
