This week Klein, Texas Local Business is “Namaste Indian Cuisine”. It’s Indian restaurant; located on Sawdust Rd, Spring, Texas.
A few years ago we used to go to this place for lunch, and we love their food. Later, the place change owner, and the quality of the food was not that great. Last week, we decide to give it a try and we found out that the previous owner bought the restaurant back. They no longer have a buffet for lunch because they want to keep good quality food. We love to report that the quality and service of the food were great.
I love this place so much because they serve good Indian food with different choices for vegetarian dishes and gluten-free curries and a variety of meats. And, they can adjust the level of spicy according to your taste (mild, medium, hot)
Last week we ordered “Samosa”as appetizers, “Lamb Tikka Masala”, “Butter Chicken Masala” and “Chicken Vindaloo” all entree came with Basmati rice and we also had an “Assorted Bread Basket”.
The samosas are deep-fried pastries filled with a savory mixture of potatoes, peas, and spices. They were warm and crispy, the combination with the sauces that came with was great. What I loved about the Tikka, was how tender was the lamb. The butter Masala chicken was a mild-buttery curry with great taste. The Vindaloo we requested with medium spice, was too spicy for me but t was perfect for my husband’s taste. The perfect side was the basket of Naan, which came in three different flavors: garlic, plain, and jalapeño. All the food was delicious and fresh. We truly enjoyed the combination of herbs and spices in all the curries.
We are happy that Namaste has re-opened with the original owners, specially because the quality of the food it’s back to what we remember. We will be back!
