This week Klein Living Hot Spot of the Week is “Island Grill – Springwoods”. It’s an American/Mediterranean restaurant; located in Springwoods Village.
I love this place so much because they have a variety of healthy and tasty choices on their menu. From smoothies and juice bar, salads, Mediterranean plates, burgers sandwiches to pizza and cocktails.
It is a family-owned restaurant, with several locations in the Houston area. We went to the one on Springwoods. The restaurant is new and modern with a casual and friendly atmosphere. The server was nice and attentive, suggesting favorites from the menu.
Last week we ordered “Falafel Balls”, “Mediterranean Chicken Plate” and “Salmon pesto Pasta”. We also had a couple of mini desserts, tiramisu, and apple.
They have a great pizza oven and they make their crust from scratch, so next time we will be trying their pizza.
