HOT SPOT OF THE WEEK: Fukuda Sushi & Robata

This week Klein, Texas Local Business is Fukuda Sushi & Robata”. It’s Japanese restaurant; located onThe Woodlands.

This is a family-owned Japanese restaurant since 2009. We’ve been going to Fukuda since the beginning. It is a casual restaurant that offers traditional sushi, tempura, soba, and udon dishes and bento boxes. We have always loved their selection of sushi, how fresh they are, and all the traditional Japanese dishes.

We love this place so much because their food is great, we have known many of the servers for years and their service is great, they even remember our favorites. For one of my birthdays, my favorite server, Akie, created a specialty sushi roll just for me and it has been one of our favorites ever since.

Last week we ordered “Spicy Garlic Edamame” and Gyoza for appetizers. And, several sushi rolls: “Rainbow Dragon roll”, “Surf and Turf roll”, “Shaggy roll” and “Hell dragon roll”. The food was great. The spicy edamame was a little spicy and very tasteful. My son loves the gyoza, they are his favorite. The rolls were all fresh and the combination of flavors was delicious. It was our first time trying the Hell dragon, it is a deep-fried roll with a very interesting combination between the smoked salmon, the shrimp tempura and spicy kick with the sriracha and the spicy mayo
