This week Klein, Texas Local Business is “Lunitas To-Go”. It’s a Latin American finger food restaurant; located on 5128 F.M. 1960.
Last week, we were driving on F.M 1960 and we stumbled across this place. So, we decided to stop and check it out. Even though it says To-Go, you can order in their restaurant. It’s a small joint with a Latin American finger food menu, that includes Empanadas, Tostones (fried green plantains), Maduros (fried ripe plantains), Fried Yucca, fries, and Wings.
Last week we ordered “Beef empanadas”, “Maduros” and “Tostones”. Everything was fried at the moment. The beef empanadas were great, with a thin flour dough and nice seasoning in the beef filling. Everything comes with their own sauce to dip, the chimichurri and the green sauce were my favorites. All the food was great and it’s a wonderful menu to eat while watching a movie. I like this place because they have great food with a quick service, good size portions at a very reasonable price.
