HOT SPOT OF THE WEEK! Q-Shi BBQ & Sushi

This week KleinLiving Hot Spot is “Q-Shi Barbecue & Sushi”. It’s a casual joint with BBQ plates, sushi, and Asian-American fusion dishes; located on 2920.

If you like BBQ and sushi and you are feeling adventurous, you got a try this joint. They have a very unique combination menu, from more traditional BBQ dishes and traditional sushi rolls to their special combination of sushi with brisket and bento boxes.

Last week we ordered “BBQ crispy rolls” and “, Q-shi 3 roll”, a “Korean Bento Box”, “Asian Sticky Ribs” and “Bang Bang Chicken bowl”

The roll has brisket inside a thin egg roll wrapper; it was very crispy and the brisket was tender and flavorful. A very original take on a southern roll. The Korean Bento Box was filled to the brim with a wonderful assortment of food, the bento box was extremely delicious. My son’s favorite part of the box was the dumplings. They were small, bite-sized, pieces filled with a fresh flavor of beef. The ribs were very tender, the combination with the fried rice and house-made slaw was really good. I especially love the fried rice, it has brisket and it was very flavorful. The Bang Bang Chicken is not your typical sweet & sour dish… They use panko for a very crispy texture and the sauce is lightly sweet and spicy enough for Texas palates.

Please share this blog, so more people can support this local business. At this time, they are open and taking to-go orders.
