This week KleinLiving Hot Spot of the Week is “Chai Taco“. It’s Desi style taqueria serving a fusion of Mexican and Indian dishes; located inside the Exxon Gas station at the corner of Kuykendahl Rd and Gosling Rd.
I love this place so much because its close to home, their samosas and their breakfast tacos are really good at a very good value.
This morning we ordered 2 Samosas, a Breakfast Burrito and a “Steak, Egg, and Cheese Taco”. The taco was really nice, I like the combination between the beans, the warm tortilla, and the tender, well-cooked beef. The burrito was very tasty with a twist when you combine it with the sauce. And, the samosas were crispy on the outside but not greasy with a nice touch of spices. Ask for their special, yogurt-based sauce, it was delicious when combining with the tacos, burritos, and samosas.
Where can you get that fusion, Mexican/Indian, in the same place? only in Houston and what better place than Chai Taco.
