This week KleinLiving Local Business is “Envy Wine Room“. It’s a sip and shop wine bar; located on Old Town Spring.
Last week my husband and I decided to go out for a happy hour, just to get a change of scenery from working primarily from home. We drove through Old Town Spring looking for a place to sit and enjoy a drink, and we came across Envy Wine Room.
We both love wine, specially Ribera del Duero wines from Spain, which tend to be not so easy to find. We were really please with the wine selection, and happy to found that they carry several Ribera del Duero. They also offer beers from around the world.
We love this place so much because it’s beautiful, the decor is really nice, the ambiance and food are great. We ordered loaded potatoes as an appetizer and an Italian pizza paired with a Ribera del Duero wine.
The wedge potatoes were crispy drizzled with beer cheese and topped with sour cream, pico de gallo, avocado, and beef. They were really good and the beef was very tender; the combination with the beer cheese was really tasty. As a suggestion, from our server, we got the Italian pizza, it was thin crust, light brown very cheesy and delicious. Our server was very attentive and very helpful with the food and wine recommendations. This was our first time, and we definitely will be coming back!
