This week’s Klein, Texas Local Business is “Season’s Harvest Cafe“. It’s a family owned farm to table, organic cafe. Their fare includes raw dishes, vegetarian and add-on meats; located on Shaw Rd.
Few years ago I was looking for an option to a farm to table restaurant that I didn’t need to go into the city. That’s when I found about this gem hidden in the back of Shaw Rd. Located on a small farm with fresh, healthy unique food. They have vegan and gluten free options with organic meat add-ons.
I love this place so much because their fresh, flavorful organic food. Their menu is seasonal and it is prepare with Healthy in mind; everything is made from scratch with organic ingredients from their farm and/or local farms. Their atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming; and it makes you forget that your are in the city. They also have a great bakery.
Last week we ordered “Santa Fe Power Bowl” and “Sungold Cherry Heirloom Tomato-Jalapeño Jam Panini” with “Chipotle Squash Bisque with Coconut Cream” and “Coffee Cake”.
The food was great, I love the freshness and flavor of the Bowl and my husband enjoyed his panini, especially when he added the chipotle jam to it! The soup reminds me of my grandma’s soups; so fresh and warm. The coffee cake was moist, not to sweet and the touch of nuts was delicious.
