This week Klein, Texas Local Business is “Euro Bakery Cafe“. It’s a small family-owned and operated Greek restaurant and dessert shop; located on Louetta Rd, close to Kuykendahl.
I found this place several years ago when I was looking for a chocolate cake for my husband’s birthday. I ordered a Chocolate Decadence Cake and it was fantastic. Everybody loved the cake and I would say that it is my husband’s favorite. Since then, I always order this cake for his birthday.
All their desserts are amazing and super fresh. I especially like their baklava, their cookies, their Carrot Cake, and of course the Chocolate Decadence Cake. You can order a full cake or buy by the slice.
Last week we ordered to go. We had Dolmades, Spanakopita, Ground beef kebabs. And for dessert, we had a slice of Chocolate Decadence Cake and their new specialty: baklava on top of cheesecake.
All the food was fresh and delicious. We truly enjoy our meal and we will definitely be ordering to go again. The highlight of the meal was the baklava/cheesecake, the combination of flavors was perfect; the nutty sugary of the baklava with the creamy more neutral taste of the cheesecake.
